This Grey Shrike Thrush was knocked out of it’s nest, by a magpie, in 2014 and it’s mother died defending the nest. We raised it and released it. Yesterday I was sitting on the verandah at the shop and a Grey Shrike Thrush flew into the tree outside the shop. It sat there and looked at me for a few minutes, then flew off.
